Last week, one of our clients requested that we test 3 paddle fans in one of their warehouses. By paddle fans, we are talking about the type of fan that mount to the ceiling in mga bahay. In this particular case, the fans were used to prevent air stratification during cold ambient temperatures. The 5 foot diameter fans were installed 18 ft. above the finished floor. We are currently working on a Performing Arts addition to a local high school. The addition is served by one 36,000 CFM air handling unit. The unit has a supply and return fan along with hot and chilled water coils and mixing dampers for the economizer. Also at the discharge at the supply fan, there are sound attenuators. Superheat Adjustment Procedure
Superheat" is the term used to describe the difference between the vapor point (ie. temperature at which the refrigerant evaporates at a given pressure) and the actual temperature of the refrigerant exiting the evaporator coil.
To adjust the superheat you will need the following tools:
1. Refrigerant gauge set
2. 19mm socket or wrench
3. Flathead screw driver
