Hi Elizalde! thanks to your mail. Actually I am in need of Technician dito sa Melbourne, in fact dito sa Australia malaki ang shortage sa Tradesman like A/C Technician, Electrician, Plumber, Welder, Auto Mechanic, etc. pero hindi madaling mag-import ng labour from Philippines to Australia considering the cost of sponsorship. I can tell you how to come to Australia. Please email me at my address: orlando@orlandorefrigeration.com.au
Thanks Elizalde for your query. Thanks mate!

Good luck sa iyong graduation. Nasa yo na lahat ng opportunity para idevelop ang career mo. If you have good grades maganda yan at plus factor sa paghahanap ng trabaho pero ibang iba na sa labas ng school. Always consider this, what matters now is your hvac skills and willingness to survive not the grades anymore. Out there in the field there are hundreds of thousands of spare parts, tools, equipment, system applications, operation and service manuals to read, formulas, calibration, electronics and electrical jobs waiting on you. You may learn to braze and install a mini-split and able to start-up and still you are a very young amateur. After a year or two comes the time that you will get bored coz you're not earning that much and wander why your career is so slow and not learning anymore. You might dream of learning how to service a chiller and yet you have no access to it just like a kid who know how to bike and dreaming of driving a car. You might been employed for 5 years and still you can't pay the rent on time and you cant even treat your girlfriend for dinner in Jollibee hehe. Believe me life being a technician is hard as in physically stressful. If after 10 years and still you haven't touched a centrifugal chiller your career is way way too sloooooow but if you are wise and aggressive life will be easy and cool. Consider this, there are hundreds of thousands of office buildings and factories around you and they all use airconditioning and refrigeration, that is just in the Philippines. You travel a bit farther to Singapore and Hongkong and you will see much much bigger opportunity. And if you want to amaze yourself go to Shanghai, the city is so huge that you have to drive about 40 kilometers on elevated highway without traffic from Pudong airport to downtown Shanghai and all you see below and around is endless buildings and scrapers. That is the opportunity waiting for you and all you need is read, read and learn more. Ask and you will get answer.

Elizalde your courage to have an HVAC/R job is very much aggressive. You must have at least a few years experience locally. It is difficult for you to work overseas mostly in Middle East. My advice to you is to go to Manila and try as hard as you can to get hire by a HVAC/R manufacturing company (York, Trane, Carrier or Mc Quay) then establish your knowledge. HVAC/R is very wide you must focus your self to gain more knowledge and discipline in field.
